If you want to impress a girl like Taylor Swift you need some serious game! Fortunately for Dane Cook ‘Game’ is his middle name. Well, actually it’s Jeffrey, but I’m sure you get the point…
The funny man was on Jay Leno’s show to endorse his latest album ‘Did My Best’, but that obviously wasn’t his only objective. Cook, 38, obviously wanted to score some brownie points with Swift, because he decided to serenade the 21-year-old Country singer with his shirt off! And that’s not all folks! He also had a tattoo of Taylor (hopefully it was fake) on his chest, and another one reading, “I Did My Best”, on his back.
While Cook was crooning swift he asked her to stand up and take a bow, which she did graciously, and at the end of the song she was showered in what appeared to be red rose pedals… How strangely romantic!
But by no means did all of the romanticism make Taylor forgetful. Earlier today she took to Twitter to wish one of her fellow pop star friends a happy birthday. She tweeted:
Wishing this smiley girl a happy birthday. @mismileycyrus now you are 18! I am so proud on you. God bless.

In less than a week, fans will be able to purchase Taylor Swift’s new album, Speak Now, in its entirety. Her first single from the LP, “Mine,” has had fans singing along, but some are already wondering what her second official track will be. We decided to put that question to Swift.
“It’s all based on what fans like the most, and every single decision we’ve made as far as what song to come with next has been based on the fans’ passion level toward that song,” Taylor explained to MTV News. “And the album isn’t out yet, so we can’t really get a read on it yet.”
So does waiting for fan reaction make Swift anxious? “That’s another reason why I’m sitting on the edge of my seat,” she admitted. “I want to know what they like the best.”
Meanwhile, Swift has continued to roll out sneak peeks of some Speak Now songs, which have been performing well on the charts, a fact that makes the country/pop singer even more excited for the chance to tour.
“Lots, lots of touring, very extensive tour planned,” Swift revealed. “That’s also gonna be a worldwide thing, so I’m just completely stoked out of my mind to play the new songs live.”
Given her plans to hit the road, is there a new song she’ll be most nervous to perform? “Innocent”? “Speak Now”? Or maybe the song rumored to be about Taylor Lautner, “Back to December”?
“Yes … you’ll probably be able to tell which one,” Swift smiled. “It’ll probably be very obvious.”
Of the songs you’ve heard so far, which one do you hope Taylor makes her second single? Tell us in the comments!

MANILA, Philippines – Fans eagerly anticipating Taylor Swift’s concert in Manila will have to wait longer as her supposed October show is not happening.
Renzie Baluyut, president of Divan Media who is organizing Taylor’s upcoming concert, said in a statement posted on the Manila Concert Scene website on Sept. 23 that they were “originally gunning for an October show.” However, “recent developments require us to make some adjustments in the schedule…”
This is not to say that a T. Swift concert is not happening at all. As Baluyut said, “we’re working on moving the date back a little bit.”
Baluyut also said that his team has been working with the award-winning singer-songwriter’s agency and management for several weeks now. He assured Taylor’s Filipino supporters that “we’re all preparing for something big and exciting— details are going to be out very soon.”
On the same day, Taylor Swift’s official club in the Philippines, Taylor Swift Philippines, posted on its website an email response from a rep of Taylor’s official management team about the concert rumor.
“I can assure you that the (October) concert is not happening. I work directly for Taylor for her management team in Nashville. Please get the word out as much as possible that this is not happening. I have passed this along to the correct people,” wrote the rep named Jordan.
Prior to this, a statement was posted on Taylor’s official Facebook page, which read:
“Recent rumors indicate that Taylor Swift is playing a concert in Manila at the Araneta Coliseum on October 22, 2010. This rumor is UNTRUE and Taylor will NOT be performing in Manila on October 22, 2010 at the Araneta Coliseum.”
The said statement was also posted on Taylor Swift Philippines on Sept. 1. As of this writing, the post on Facebook is no longer available.
Many speculate that Taylor’s Manila visit had to be deferred because of the forthcoming release of her third studio album, “Speak Now.” Release date for the album is slated for Oct. 25, three days after the rumored concert.

(RTTNews) – Taylor Swift fans will have to wait another month for her new album to hit shelves, but in the meantime they can check out what’s in store. Swift unveiled the track listing this week for Speak Now, her third studio album.
Speak Now will feature her current single “Mine,” as well as 13 other tracks including “Innocent,” which she recently performed at the MTV Video Music Awards.
During a Web cast this past summer, Swift talked about the album.
“The thing is, I don’t really talk about my personal life in interviews, but I definitely sing about it,” she said. “So they’re definitely very sung about on this next record. . . There is also the fact that the album is called Speak Now, and that pertains to the album as a concept and as an entire theme of the record, more than I can even tell you.”
Swift added that the album has been in the works for two years. She says she likes to taker her time while writing, saying it “gives enough time for me [to] write everything that I live. You have got to give yourself time to live a lot of things, so you can write a lot of things.”

Looks like we’re in for the beginning of Kanye vs. Taylor round two.
Taylor Swift is set to take the stage at Sunday night’s MTV Video Music Awards, and while she won’t be sharing the stage with spotlight-stealing nemesis (and fellow attendee) Kanye West, the country cutie is prepared to take on the loose-cannon rapper…in song, E! News has confirmed.
While Swift’s song choice is being kept under tight wraps, a source tells E! News she will debut a new tune about the stage-jacking rapper, who infamously interrupted her acceptance speech for “Best Female Video” last year.
Ironically, West, went on a Twitter rant last week, apologizing about last year’s incident profusely and proclaiming that he wrote a song for her….a nice one.
It’s not know if he’ll go with that new tune at the VMAs. His performance is also being kept on lockdown—sources say that the rapper rehearsed tonight under heavy security. All nonessential personnel were cleared from the space when West ran through his act.
